Dorothea Wierer is a stunner! Even before the final mass start, the South Tyrolean, together with Marte Olsbu Røiseland, was the superstar of the World Cup. Now Wierer struck again and secured the silver medal in the mass start. Gold went to the Norwegian, who conjured up an incredible final lap on the Antholz cross-country ski trail and intercepted Wierer a few hundred meters before the finish. Incredible Røiseland record After the last shooting, Wierer was almost 15 seconds ahead of Røiseland, but in the end she couldn't keep up with the Scandinavian's running power. Mass start bronze went to Sweden's Hanna Öberg, who was able to celebrate a conciliatory end to the World Cup. So far, Öberg has had to settle for a “tinny” fourth place three times, but now the 24-year-old has won her first precious metal in Antholz.

Lisa Vittozzi has had a very bitter competition. The Friulian made nine errors, with her having to go into the penalty loop five times in the second prone position alone. In the end, Vittozzi came last. As good as the World Championships started for Vittozzi with the medal in the single mixed relay, her individual competitions were bitter. What a finish! Dorothea Wierer won her fourth medal in Antholz. In the mass start, the racer was on course for gold for a long time before she was intercepted by Marte Olsbu Røiseland shortly before the finish.
