Biathlon World Cup: Antholz beaten, Östersund wins the race

The 2019 World Championships were awarded on Sunday afternoon as part of the eleventh regular congress of the International Biathlon Union (IBU) in St. Wolfgang near Salzburg. Among the candidates was the South Tyrolean biathlon mecca Antholz, which, despite a strong presentation in the first round, had to admit defeat to the Swedish Östersund with 16:27 votes.
