Braunhofer, Vittozzi and Hofer mixed Italian champions

After the Italian champions were determined in the mass start on Saturday (SportNews reported) , the Mixed Italian Championships were on the program on Sunday. Some South Tyroleans in Martelltal were also able to cheer. Above all, Patrick Braunhofer and Lukas Hofer. As a Carabinieri team, they both won the mixed relay together with Lisa Vittozzi from Sappada/Plodn. Second place went to the army sports group with Thomas Bormolini, Nicole Gontier and Dominik Windisch. The latter had already secured the Italian championship title in the mass start the day before. Third place also went to a relay from the army sports group: Giuseppe Montello, Michela Carrara and Thierry Chenal.

A South Tyrolean was also able to celebrate among the juniors. Irene Lardschneider won the Italian championship title for the Finanzwache with Tommaso Giacomel and Cedric Christille. Second place went to the Carabinieri, bronze went to the army sports group, for which Marteller Peter Tumler, among others, competed.

The army sports group won gold in the U19 age group. Silver went to the Carabinieri, where, among others, the two South Tyroleans Rebecca Passler and David Zingerle competed. Bronze went to Team South Tyrol 2 with Josef Plaickner, Selina Gurschler and Lukas Puner. In the U17 age group, Südtirol 1 with Simon Markart, Linda Zingerle and Daniel Oberegger won gold.
