The arithmetic problem of the Antholz Biathlon boss

The weather cooperated again, the ski hunters put on real brilliant performances and at the end there was even Dorothea Wierer's home win to celebrate. And yet: In Antholz nothing was as we knew it from previous years. The empty spectator stands provided a desolate backdrop. At the same time, they require enormous economic calculations from the organizers, after all, around 400.00 euros in income are missing due to the ghost scenery.

He is calm personified, and if he is really nervous, he doesn't show it. Lorenz Leitgeb is the head of the organizing committee in the Südtirol Arena and, together with the general secretary Erika Pallhuber, leads the fate of this World Cup. He tries to look at it soberly, but the fact that once again no spectators were allowed to come bothers him. After all, in difficult circumstances it is important to avoid a financial loss.
