Third World Cup victory for Johannes Thingnes Boe - Hofer 19.

The penultimate World Cup stage opened with the men's sprint in the Biathlon Arena in Kontiolahti on Thursday afternoon. The victory went to 20-year-old Norwegian shooting star Johannes Thingnes Boe. The South Tyroleans, however, had to be content with a placement outside the top 15.
