A few hours after the race, the Norwegian was fine again and described what exactly happened to her. “I got atrial fibrillation (a cardiac arrhythmia, editor's note), started to feel unwell and completely lost energy,” Tandrevold told Norwegian Radio NRK: “I recognized the symptoms immediately because it happened to me once in 2017 – also here in Oberhof.” Squadron deployment questionable She had examinations before the season where problems or irregularities in the heart were ruled out. On Thursday, Tandrevold underwent new tests and “everything looks completely normal.” That’s why she’s not scared or worried. “I regret it because I had a good race. I don’t know why this happened to me.” It is not yet clear whether Tandrevold will be ready for action again in the relay on Saturday. It will be checked closely on Friday and Saturday. “Only then will we consider whether a start makes sense or not,” says Lars Kolsrud, doctor for the Norwegian national team. In any case, the left-wing shooter is convinced: “I know it’s not dangerous and I think I can carry on.”
