Dorothea Wierer, who is ill, will miss the start of the World Cup in Östersund

Dorothea Wierer will not take part in the two relay races (individual and mixed) that officially open this year's biathlete World Cup season on Sunday, November 29th in Östersund, Sweden. The 25-year-old from Rasen caught a cold and fever at the “Sesongstart Skiskyting” in Sjusjön last week. That's why Wierer and her trainers decided not to fly to Östersund until Monday, November 30th. She wants to treat herself at home.
