Bitnes is happy about his return. “In order to take the next step, it is important that we pull together as a team. The fun of training and the joy in the group are also an important success factor for me. Now it’s about developing goals together and forming a strong team in the medium term,” said the 39-year-old, outlining his approach. He is building on the collaboration with Gredler and the ex-world-class man Landertinger, who has been working as a performance diagnostician with his own company since the previous year. This will create a “common thread in the area of training control,” says Bitnes. As expected, Markus Fischer will remain in office as head coach in the women's support staff around world champion Lisa Hauser. His new “co” is the Styrian Bernhard Pollerus, while Fischer's German compatriot Gerald Hönig, who previously worked as a shooting coach, is leaving the ÖSV support staff. ÖSV sports director Toni Giger was convinced that they were very well positioned with this coaching constellation. “Dominik Landertinger is also a great asset in this role,” confirmed Giger.
