Lukas Hofer achieved a disappointing 53rd place in the sprint at the IBU Cup in Obertilliach on Saturday. Just a few hours later, the Italian winter sports association FISI announced that the 33-year-old had nevertheless been nominated for the World Championships in Oberhof.
