Lisa Hauser from Reith near Kitzbühel triumphed on Sunday without any penalties, ahead of three exceptional Norwegian athletes. She became the first ever Austrian biathlon world champion; among men, there have only been two gold medals for the ÖSV, with Wolfgang Rottmann in 2000 and Dominik Landertinger in 2009.
