Home gold for Herrmann, Azzurre with light and shadow

Denise Herrmann-Wick secured the gold medal in the sprint at her home World Championships in Oberhof. The German prevailed in a heart-stopping final. The Azzurre came away empty-handed, but two young South Tyroleans more than passed their World Cup test.
