“Feelings of love”: German biathlete has dared

The women of the German national biathlon team are training in South Tyrol these days. A newlywed ski hunter is also there. Marion Deigentesch recently said yes to her Sebi and will therefore compete in the biathlon circus in the future under the name Wiesensarter. The 26-year-old from Upper Bavaria is not one of the big names in her sport, but she was able to set a few exclamation marks last year - for example in Antholz, where she achieved eleventh place in the individual race and thus her best career result. She won bronze in the pursuit at the 2013 Junior World Championships. No time for a honeymoon The biathlete's wedding took place in a small circle at the Surberg registry office. “We are planning a bigger celebration for next year, if it is possible by then because of Corona,” Wiesenarter revealed Traunstein daily newspaper . She posted a photo with her husband on social media and wrote: “Feelings of love. Call me Mrs. Wiesenarter.” Beneath the photo there were numerous congratulations from the biathlon family. But there is no time for a honeymoon at the moment. “Preparations are in full swing, so the honeymoon is limited,” explains the bride. Immediately after saying yes, she and her teammates went to the Alpe di Siusi, where they've been sweating for a week now.
