Italian Championship: Windisch and Wierer also win the pursuit

In the women's category, Dorothea Wierer, Michela Ponza and Karin Oberhofer fought an exciting three-way battle for the gold medal. Oberhofer gave up the victory in the standing stage and ultimately had to give way to Dorothea Wierer. In the end she took third place, as the faultless Michela Ponza moved into second place.

In the men's race, however, Dominik Windisch made a furious comeback after Mattia had temporarily pushed Cola out of first place. The 22-year-old from Rasen ultimately won with a lead of around 18 seconds. The bronze medal went to Lukas Hofer, who had to lose contact with the leading duo prematurely due to several missed shots.
