Irene Lardschneider narrowly missed out on a World Cup medal

Italy's biathletes narrowly missed the podium at the start

Italy's biathletes apparently love fourth places. This was the case at the World Championships in Hochfilzen, and this was repeated at the start of the Junior World Championships in Osrblie, Slovakia. Cedric Christille from the Aosta Valley took this thankless place. Patrick Braunhofer showed a very good performance in eleventh place, Peter Tumler reached 27th place. And just three hours later, Irene Lardschneider from Wolkenstein achieved an excellent fifth place.
