Lukas Hofer and Co. took part in the Summer Biathlon Festival

The Summer Biathlon Festival, held in the “Carnia Arena” in Forni Avoltri, was a great success. There were races in various disciplines on the program; in addition to biathlon, there was also a team sprint in cross-country skiing.

The main race was the single mixed relay in biathlon, in which many well-known World Cup starters took part. The victory went to the Swiss Susi Meinen and the Slovakian Martin Otcenas. Behind them were the two South Tyroleans Irene Lardschneider and Dominik Windisch in second place. The podium was completed by Lukas Hofer from Montal and Michela Carrara from “Azzurra”. Alexia Runggaldier took fifth place with Michael Durand, while Dorothea Wierer came seventh with her partner Paolo Rodigari. Kaisa Mäkäräinen from Finland was the big international star in this competition. She took eleventh place together with Gaiser Andreas Plaickner.

Lukas Hofer and Co. took part in the Summer Biathlon Festival

The “Summer Biathlon Festival” took place in Forni Avoltri (Udine) from July 14th to 16th. Both South Tyrolean biathletes and some international stars took part in the show competition.
