Nine wins sprint in Hochfilzen - 18th Michela Ponza

At the 7,5 km World Cup sprint in Hochfilzen, record world champion Magdalena Neuner celebrated her second win of the season, the 26th of her career, just three days after announcing her retirement at the end of the season. Second place went to the Finnish pursuit world champion Kaisa Mäkäräinen (2 seconds back), third was the Russian Olympic relay champion Olga Saitseva (+ 14,9). The best “Azzurra” was Michela Ponza from Val Gardena in 22,7th place.
