Peiffer after the raid: “I hope there isn’t anything there again”

After the doping raid on Russian Olympic sprint champion Alexander Loginov, Arnd Peiffer hopes “that no suspected cases are confirmed, that would be my wish,” said the 32-year-old on Saturday.

Basically, it's a mess to treat a person like that. I don't mean the police forces who carry out their investigations to the best of their knowledge and belief, but the other athletes who condemn their colleagues in advance. Among other things, no one can make me believe that other athletes don't also systematically dope. The pressure to perform is simply too high.
