Chocolate diet and tears of joy: Wierer is in seventh heaven

A certain burden has been lifted with the victory,” says Wierer, who is not yet thinking about what will happen next after the season. In the past she has announced several times that she wants to end her career after the World Cup in Antholz, but recently she has not been quite as determined about it.

“I'm not worried about it and just want to concentrate on biathlon until the end of the season. My goal remains the overall World Cup, which I absolutely want to win. That will be difficult because a lot of girls are capable of it this year. I don’t want to think about other things because that would just take up too much energy.”
