Before the start of the new World Cup season on Saturday in Östersund, the World Federation (IBU) announced how many people involved in the biathlon team met the 2G criteria - i.e. vaccinated or recovered.

Many South Tyrolean winter sports enthusiasts accepted the offer of vaccination against the coronavirus back in May. This also applies to biathlete Dorothea Wierer, who also posted a call for vaccination on social media at the time. But what about the remaining biathletes in the international field?
