Despite top performance: Hofer remains without a podium

However, four more athletes came after that, pushing Hofer to fifth place. This means that the Pusterer is in the top ten in an individual World Cup competition for the eighth time this season, but he is still denied his first podium finish.

Sprint Olympic medalist Dominik Windisch did not make it into the top field in the first World Cup race in Oslo. After completing two penalty laps, he had to settle for 31st place.
