VIDEO | Wierer is also lightning fast on the snowboard

The World Cup at home in Antholz has been successfully contested, and there are still two weeks until the World Championships in Oberhof - so biathlon star Dorothea Wierer took some time off on Tuesday and swapped her narrow cross-country skis for a wide snowboard. In beautiful sunshine, she raced down the slopes in the Alpe Lusia/Bellamonte ski area in Fiemme Valley, as the pictures in her Instagram video show. But Wierer doesn't have much time left to switch off; Italy's national biathlon team will start preparing for the World Cup with a training camp in Ridnaun at the end of the week.
