Wierer impresses at the Røiseland show

Marte Olsbu Røiseland was out for a long time this winter. Among other things, Røiseland struggled with shingles. The reigning overall champion only made her World Cup comeback in Ruhpolding in January. Now the Norwegian is at the top again in an individual race for the first time. In Nove Mesto, Czech Republic, Røiseland showed a perfect performance and clearly left her competition behind in the sprint.

Teammate Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold came closest to her. The Norwegian, who unlike Røiseland had to go into the penalty loop once, ended up in second place, 23,2 seconds behind. The Frenchwoman Anais Chevalier-Bouchet came third.

Dorothea Wierer, however, narrowly missed the podium. The Niederrasner woman even kept up with Røiseland for a long time before she missed the last of the ten shots. Wierer then fought for the podium, but missed it by six seconds.

The young woman from Antholz recorded her second-best World Cup result with 23rd place. Incidentally, Passler was the fastest in standing shooting alongside Wierer. Hannah Auchentaller, on the other hand, ended up in 57th place with three errors. But that meant she was still able to qualify for the pursuit.

This will take place on Saturday from 15.45:13.50 p.m. Almost two hours earlier, at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., it is the gentlemen's turn. On Sunday there will be a mixed relay and a single mixed relay on the program in Nove Mesto.
