Laura Dahlmeier (GER), winner: “It's fantastic to win here. For me it was a perfect race, even though I made a useless mistake in the first shooting. Being able to run to the finish alone in such a setting is indescribable.”

Dorothea Wierer (ITA/Rasen), second place: “I am very happy with second place. It's even harder in front of your home crowd because a lot of people have high expectations of you. I knew I could only make a few missed shots, but luckily the other athletes also made mistakes. Today I felt very good on the skis, it was a great race. I attacked again in the last few meters and it was a great feeling to overtake Domracheva at the finish.”

Darya Domracheva (BLR), third place: “It is a very important podium for me. I’m getting better from race to race, which gives me a lot of self-confidence, also with a view to the Olympic Games.”

Johannes Thingnes Bø (NOR), winner: “Of course I’m very happy with my race. Even though I was able to get a big lead over the competition right away, I stayed focused until the end. Today I shot perfectly, it was an incredible feeling to cross the finish line alone and be cheered on by the fans.”

Martin Fourcade (FRA), second place: “Today Bø was simply unbeatable. After the first shooting I knew it would be very difficult to win. Nevertheless, I'm happy with second place, I didn't have my best race today. Tomorrow I will give it my all again and try to win.”

Anton Shipulin (RUS), third place: “Third place is a very good result for me. I'm getting better and better, which is very positive for the Olympics. Bø and Fourcade were simply too strong today.”
