Windisch’s strong Antholz performance: “Hope that was the turning point”

The season has been disappointing so far for the bronze winner in Pyeongchang. A 19th place was his best single result this year. For the winner Johannes Thingnes Bø it was the fourth triumph in Antholz. “It was pretty tough this year,” said the Norwegian, “especially the new passages (the route in Antholz was changed in some places compared to last year, editor’s note) were not easy to manage. But when I scored nine goals, I was very happy and after that I won the fight.”

Biathlon in Antholz – it goes on year after year. This was also the case on Friday, when the men's sprints took place in the Südtirol Arena. Johannes Thingnes Bø took the win, but local hero Dominik Windisch also had reason to be happy.
