Between shoe collections and Netflix: Doro Wierer turns 30

Wierer - like so many sports stars - currently has to stay within his own four walls due to the corona crisis. So there won't be a big celebration for her anniversary for the time being. Nevertheless, the biathlon queen can console herself with a slightly different gift, as she recently revealed in a live interview with Alpentour TV. “April 4rd is my birthday and the fourth season of Money Heist is coming out. This is my favorite series on Netflix. At least it’s a present that’s halfway good,” Wierer said at the time with a smile.

Is the 30s a problem for you? "No he is not. But when I was 25 years old, I said to myself: When I'm 30, I won't be in biathlon for a long time. Now the time has come and I have to decide what will happen to my life. 30 is an important phase of life,” explained the double world champion from Antholz. Top entertainment during quarantine times In any case, it doesn't look bad that Wierer will be on the cross-country ski trails next winter. She emphasizes again and again: If the team and coach remain the same, then she will continue to be involved. However, a definitive decision has not yet been made.

From a sporting perspective, Wierer is currently experiencing the best years of her life. At the beginning of March she won the overall World Cup for the second time in a row, crowning an outstanding season that culminated with 4 medals (including 2 gold) at the World Championships in Antholz. In her career, Doro won, among other things, 3 world championship titles, 2 overall World Cup victories, 2 bronze medals at the Olympics and 3 small crystal balls. These are impressive numbers.

In any case, Wierer knows how to keep her fans entertained even during the quarantine period. Whether with grim face while cleaning the house , bathing in the sea of shoes, sorting earrings and clothes or even classic on the home bike - the speedster reveals a lot about her life on Instagram.
