European Cup opener in Igls: South Tyroleans miss top ranking

The starting signal for the 2014/15 European Cup season for bobsledders was fired on the artificial ice rink north of the Brenner Pass this Wednesday. In the first two-man bobsleigh race of the season, the two South Tyrolean pilots Lukas Gschnitzer and Patrick Baumgartner had to be content with a place outside the top 15.
