Italy's bobsleigh team has forgone the World Cup in Igls.

Patrick Baumgartner finished 17th in the European Cup

Somewhat surprisingly, the management of Italy's bobsleigh team has decided to skip the World Cup races in Igls this weekend and instead start in the European Cup on the former 1992 Olympic track in La Plagne (France). Also there was Patrick Baumgartner from Reischach, who showed a slight upward trend.
