Planning for the 2023/24 season has long since begun at the South Tyrol State Winter Sports Association. The new state squads were put together in the last few weeks. These tobogganers, snowboarders and freestylers made it into the selection teams.

South Tyrol's natural track sledders do well in the scene year after year - whether it's the overall World Cup, World or European Championships. At some point, however, living legends like Patrick Pigneter and Evelin Lanthaler will end their careers. At that point at the latest, the “young wild ones” should follow in the footsteps of their idols. The foundation for the successes is also being laid in the state squad, which will take place in the coming winter Adam Fink (born 2007), Joseph Fink (2008/both ASV Latzfons-Verdings), Andrew Hofer (2006/RV Passeier), Simon Reichhalter (2008/ASV Völs), Matthias Telser (2009) and Michael Noah Tinzl (2008/both ASC Laas) with the boys.

Snowboarders approach higher tasks

The state freestyle ski squad is run by Fabian Oggiano and Pascal Runggaldier cared for.
