Grand Prix Beijing: Carolina Kostner 2nd after the short program

Carolina Kostner celebrated her season debut on Friday in Beijing at the “Lexus Cup of China”, the third stage of the 2013/2014 ISU Grand Prix. The 26-year-old from Ortisei, the only Italian in the field of participants, is in second place after the short program with 62.75 points, behind the 17-year-old Russian Adelina Sotnikova with 66.03 points and in front of another very young Russian, 15-year-old Anna Pogorilaya with 60.24 points.
