Grassl brings Italy on course for the final

The team event, for which ten nations have qualified, consists of a qualifying phase and a final. Because Nicole Della Monica and Matteo Guarise only finished seventh in the pair skating, the Azzurri slipped back a bit. It continues on Sunday night (CET), then the women compete in their short program. If Italy stays in the top 5, Daniel Grassl & Co. will fight for an Olympic medal in the free skates.
