Lea Bottacini died in a traffic accident

South Tyrol's figure skating scene mourns Lea Bottacini

The 32-year-old from Meran died in a traffic accident on the A1 near Frosinone, southeast of Rome, on the night of Sunday to Monday. Lea Norma Bottacini was a helicopter pilot. The naval employee, stationed in Catania, Sicily, was on her way back from South Tyrol with her family when she lost control of her Land Rover.
