How bitter: Kostner narrowly missed out on her 7th World Cup medal

Carolina Kostner, as the best in the short program, was the last to compete in the free program on Friday evening with high hopes. Her chances of winning a medal or even winning had even increased after Olympic champion Alina Zagitova's completely botched performance. But unfortunately the Val Gardena woman also made mistakes and even fell and the medal was gone, even if it was very close.
