In her second appearance at an ISU Grand Prix after a four-year break, Carolina Kostner conjured up an excellent short program on the ice in Osaka (Japan). Just like three weeks ago in Moscow, the Val Gardena figure skater is in second place after the first half of the competition behind the Russian Yevgenia Medvedeva.
