Seiser Alm: Gu and Moffatt win at the end

As on the previous day, the men's semi-final started at 10.00 a.m. The twelve semifinalists offered the audience a spectacular show. In an exciting semi-final, Eirik Sateroy (NOR) prevailed in the end. In addition, three Americans, Colby Stevenson, Kiernan Fagan and Ryan Stevenson, made it to the final. Eileen Gu from the USA, who had already dominated the qualification, won her first World Cup victory on the Alpe di Siusi. The 15-year-old secured victory with the last of her three runs. “I love it here on the Seiser Alm and will definitely come back. The landscape, the snow park and the slopestyle course are indescribably beautiful,” said the winner. Megan Oldham (CAN) came in second and another North American climbed onto the podium with Julia Krass (USA) in third place. Both participants achieved their best result to date in the Slopestyle World Cup.

Local hero Silvia Bertagna was not there on Sunday, because she previously failed to qualify.

The men then delivered an extremely exciting final. Until the end it was unclear who would end up on the podium. Finally, the Canadian Max Moffatt (CAN) secured the day's victory, just ahead of Oliwer Magnusson (SWE). Kiernan Fagan (USA) took third place.
