Everything is ready in the Casies Valley

In the Casies Valley everything runs according to the “master plan” of the organizing committee chaired by Walter Felderer. The route is perfectly prepared, so the race will take place over the entire 42 kilometers. In fact, none of the 36 editions had to be canceled yet. Over 2000 cross-country skiers from 38 nations will take part in this spectacular competition. While some fight for the prestigious victory, for the majority of participants it's just about having fun. Registrations for South Tyrol's largest cross-country skiing event are already in full swing. On Saturday the classic race takes place over 42 or 30 kilometers, and on Sunday the cross-country skiers compete in the freestyle race over the same distances. Since the races are part of the international Europloppet series, the Gsieser Tal Run always attracts well-known names from the cross-country skiing scene in addition to the many amateur runners. The Mini Gsieser, which has always taken place on Saturdays for young athletes, is part of the South Tyrol Cup. Cooperation with Antholz For the first time, the organizers have entered into a cooperation with the organizing team from Antholz, where the Biathlon World Championships are taking place at the same time. Anyone who registers for the Gsieser Tal Run can purchase a World Cup ticket at a reduced price either for Thursday, February 13th, Friday, February 14th, or for both days. There is another option for those biathlon fans who already have a World Cup ticket: They have the opportunity to take part in the Gsieser Valley Run on Saturday, February 15th. Shuttle buses are offered to get participants to the events on time. And by the way: Rai Sport will broadcast the skating race live on Sunday from 11.30:13.00 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.
