Clementi and Stephanie Santer win the Gsiesertal run

Fabrizio Clementi never gave up the top position after the start and took turns in the lead for the first 30 kilometers with Florian Kostner, Bonaldi, Paredi, Rigoni, Moriggl, Janmatie Kostner and Pavel Ondrasek. After Clementi, who comes from Valtellina, saw Whoever had turned onto the 30 km route set off in pursuit of his Carabinieri colleague Kostner and together they tackled the climb to St. Magdalena. Both Thomas Moriggl, Sergio Bonaldi, Daniele Yeuilla and Stefano Gardener tried to leave behind.

When Moriggl and Bonaldi hindered each other on the slope, the two Carabinieri athletes and Gardener managed to escape. In the final, Clementi managed to overtake Kostner, while the Trentino Forest Guard crossed the finish line in third place, four seconds behind.

Santer wins again after 14 years

In the women's race, Stephanie Santer was unbeatable. In the first part, she let the athletes running for the Italian Cup do the leadership work. Santer then mastered the final climb and descent with experience and bravura and won the Gsieser Valley Run for the second time, after his success on the short distance in 2000.

As for the 30 km race, Simone Paredi managed to overtake the Czech Ondrasek in the photo finish, after always being at the forefront throughout the race, and repeat the victory from last year. Third place went to Bruno Debertolis from Trentino, who was still a bit tired after Saturday's race in the classic technique. Melissa Gorra won the women's race.

After the second day of the fun run in the Casies Valley, the combination ranking (30 km classic and 42 km skating) was also created. The victories went to Sergio Bonaldi and Chiara Caminada. During the entire weekend, 1929 participants took part in the Gsieser Valley.

Clementi and Stephanie Santer win the Gsiesertal run

On Sunday the 42 km free technique race was on the program in the Gsiesertal. Fabrizio Clementi from the Carabinieri sports group won the men's event, while Stephanie Santer from Dobbiaco won the women's event.
