In 2017 he also raced onto the podium in third place in the team sprint with Dietmar Nöckler. On Saturday, Pellegrino will compete in the qualification for the sprint finals with start number 19. At the opening ceremony in the village center of Toblach, Pellegrino emphasized his anticipation of the Tour de Ski: “It's nice that it's starting. The fact that the first races are in Italy is extra motivation.”
