Johaug and Poltoranin celebrate in Oberstdorf – Nöckler in the top 20

One day before the last rest day, the fifth stage of the Tour de Ski got really busy in the mass start races in Oberstdorf. In the men's race, the Kazakh Alexey Poltoranin beat Dario Cologna (Switzerland) in a heart-stopping final, while in the women's field, victory in a high-class race went to the Norwegian Therese Johaug. There is also good news to report from a South Tyrolean perspective: Dietmar Nöckler finished in 19th place and made it into the top 20 for the first time in this Tour de Ski.
