At international level, the Gsiesertal run is part of the Euroloppet series. In Italy, the race is counted for the Gran Fondo Master Tour, and the freestyle race is also counted for the Italian Cup. You can already train on a large part of the original route. “Snow fell early this year. But we can only run our race because we have been using artificial snow for years. We are actively supported by the Gsiesertal/Welsberg/Taisten tourism association, because the cross-country ski run in the Gsiesertal is the attraction on which winter tourism is built,” concludes Felderer.
