Victory in the Val di Fiemme went to the Norwegian Petter Northug, who prevailed in 57.17,2 minutes, 1,8 seconds ahead of the Swiss overall leader Dario Cologna.

Roland Clara once again had a strong race and finished sixth over 20 kilometers in classic style, 3,7 seconds behind. He was always with the leading group and never let the gap diminish. In the overall standings, Clara has improved to ninth place and is only 17 seconds behind third place.
