Skiathlon: Nöckler and Zelger are having a hard time

The best “Azzurro” in 18th place is Francesco De Fabiani, who was still in third place after the 15km classic. When changing skis, Dietmar Nöckler from Palatinate was already more than a minute and a half behind in 34th place. At the finish, the 29-year-old had to settle for 39th place, just ahead of his teammate Giandomenico Salvadori. Stefan Zelger from Bolzano from the U23 national team crossed the finish line in 59th place.

The skiathlon was a show of strength by the Norwegians in places one to four. Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo won ahead of his teammates Martin Johnsrud Sundby, Hans Christer Holund and Simen Hegstad Krüger.

In the women's race (7,5km/7,5km), Charlotte Kalla from Sweden secured victory, ahead of Heidi Weng and Ragnhild Haga from Norway. The “Azzurre” Lucia Scardoni and Ilaria Debertolis finished distantly in 50th and 53rd place.

Skiathlon: Nöckler and Zelger are having a hard time

At the World Cup for cross-country skiers in Lillehammer in Norway, the skiathlon was on the program on Sunday (15km classic/15km freestyle). The Norwegians celebrated a quadruple victory. The two South Tyroleans Dietmar Nöckler and Stefan Zelger did not make it into the top 30.
