Tour de Ski: Teichmann steals the show from Northug and Cologna

Teichmann, who was only in 17th place after the prologue on Thursday, benefited from a fall by Cologna shortly before the finish, which delayed the pursuers around Petter Northug for a few seconds and so the 32-year-old sports soldier was the first to cross the finish line in 46.03,3 Cross minutes (the times of the prologue and pursuit race were added together). Kowalczyk barely withstands Johaug's comeback For the women, as the pursuit race continued over ten kilometers (as with the men in the classic running technique), an exciting four-way battle developed between the Pole Justyna Kowalczyk, the Norwegians Therese Johaug and Marit Björgen, and the Finnish Aino-Kaisa Saarinen. In the overall standings, thanks to the time bonus, Kowalczyk leads 5,2 seconds ahead of Johaug and 17,1 seconds ahead of Björgen. Agreiter is 3.11,3:XNUMX minutes behind the Pole. The Tour de Ski moves to Oberstdorf on Friday evening, where the sprint races are on the program on Saturday.
