Tour de Ski: Two surprise victories, South Tyroleans continue to struggle

After the rest break on Monday, the fourth stage of the Tour de Ski took place on Tuesday. The World Cup cross-country skiers were on the trail in Oberstdorf, Germany, for the first time. True to the motto “New slope, new luck”, two new faces catapulted to the top in the 1,2 kilometer sprint using classic technique. However, no good results for the three South Tyroleans, who all had to raise the white flag in qualifying.
