Pittin is vice world champion – Runggaldier is on a furious comeback

Alessandro Pittin won the “Azzurri” their first medal at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun. In the individual competition on the normal hill, the Friulian was named vice world champion. Lukas Runggaldier from Val Gardena also put in a convincing performance in the cross-country skiing competition, advancing from 34th to 12th final place.
