The countdown for the parallel giant slalom in Deutschnofen is on

The race was originally planned for February 2nd, but due to the severe onset of winter, SV Deutschnofen had to postpone the parallel giant slalom. However, due to the current spring-like temperatures, the start time was brought forward from the original 14 p.m. to 10 a.m. The parallel giant slalom has a blue and a red course with a gate distance of 23/24 meters. In the qualification, all participants have to complete one run on the red and the blue course; the times from both runs are added together. The end time is then the ranking in the South Tyrol Cup. The eight fastest runners per group then face each other in a knockout system. In the end, the day's victory will be decided in the super final. Starting numbers are handed out from 8.30 p.m. and the race starts at 10 p.m. You will find a race report including photos from Monday, March 11th on SportNews.bz .
