Raiffeisen Südtirol Cup visits Funes

The village lift in Villnöß has always been the home slope of the ASV Klausen, Ski Club Eisacktal section. On February 9th, South Tyrol's master riders will also have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills at the Fillerlift - twice! The slope may look very easy at first glance, but you should not underestimate the slope. In the medium-steep starting section with easy transitions, it is important to build up momentum for the gliding section in the middle section before heading into the selectively steep slope. Only those who stay focused on the steep slope and don't miss the exit can carry a lot of speed on the relatively flat part to the finish. Starting numbers are available at the Filler Tenne from 8 a.m. and the lift opens at the same time. The starting signal is given at 9.30 a.m. After the end of the first race, the course will be reset and inspected. The start of the second race will then be released. The award ceremony will take place approximately 1 hour after the end of the second race directly at the Filler Tenne.
