The Tyroleans Andreas and Wolfgang Linger tobogganed to their second world championship title in Cesana. The 2006 and 2010 Olympic champions and 2003 world champions left nothing to be desired in the second double-seater run on the 2006 Olympic track on Sunday and came out on top by 0,232 seconds ahead of the South Tyroleans Christian Oberstolz and Patrick Gruber. Bronze went to Latvians Andris and Juris Sics.
