She had already had surgery on her left shoulder in the spring. In August she had pain in her right shoulder, and an examination revealed a lesion at the base of the biceps tendon, according to the sledder Daily newspaper “Dolomites” (Saturday edition) tells.

She actually wanted to stay through the season and have surgery afterwards. “But I soon realized that it didn’t work that way,” Robatscher told the “Dolomites” .
