Only the 2nd run is satisfactory: no fishing season so far

Things aren't going well for Dominik Filehner this season. On Saturday at the World Cup in Altenberg (Germany) it was again not enough for a podium place.

The first run in particular was anything but good. Fischlerler had to be content with 1th place. At least he gave the right answer in the second round and raced up to 11th place with the fourth best running time. A week ago it was the other way around, at the World Championships the man from Merans missed the podium due to a mistake in the second run (SportNews reported). The 30-year-old is in 6th place in the overall standings after 5 races and is waiting for his second podium finish this season. Only in Winterberg did he make it onto the podium in second place.

This time, Filehner was 0,260 seconds behind the victorious Max Langenhan. The German, who was only in 21st place at half-time after a major driving error in the first run and was almost a second behind the leaders, won sensationally with an outstanding second run. He relegated the North Tyrolean David Gleirscher, who was leading after the first run, to second place with 2 seconds. The Latvian Kristers Aparjods ended up in third place.

Leon Felderer from Latzfons, who was in 15th place at half time, ended up in 10th place as the second best Azzurro. He was also particularly impressive in the second round with the fifth-best running time. Alex Gufler from Platt in Passeier, who finished the first run in 2th place, fell back to 1th place in the second run.
