Oberstolz-Gruber 3rd on the Olympic track in Whistler
From a South Tyrolean perspective, the first racing day of the artificial track luge world cup on the 2010 Olympic track in Whistler, Canada, was disappointing. In the single-seater competition, the two-time Olympic champion and six-time world champion Armin Zöggeler, who came third in Igls, was the best of the “Azzurri” in 13th place, while in the double-seater the Pusterers Christian Oberstolz/Patrick Gruber saved the honor of the local tobogganers with 3rd place could.
